The OCTIS was founded in 1969 as manufacturer of parts for machine tools specializing in production of cardan shafts and universal joints.
Since then the company has grown steadily and now stands on a total area of 7000 square meters.
The production, by specialized operators, is made using automated machinery such as cumputerized machining centers and turning machines or numerical control machines. All production cycle is completed in the company, from raw material to final assembly and shipping.

The quality system OCTIS obtained in 1992 the Quality Certification according to UNI EN ISO 29002 and integrated with the additional requirements prescribed by the UNI EN ISO 9002:1994, 9001:2000 and 9001:2008.

The production of OCTIS S.r.l., cardan shafts and universal joints, is manufactured using high quality steel with components in high strength steel and surface treated for long life.

The OCTIS is able to provide their details in stainless steel or treaty steel (galvanized, chrome-plated, burnished, cadmium or nickel).
To offer services that fully meet the needs of its customers OCTIS declares the following commitments:

  1. Preserved a quality system suitable to the standards (UNI EN ISO 9001:2008), where a maximum control of productive cycle, as well as the relationship with the customer, with particular reference to the care of information necessary to complete the product;
  2. Review periodically the quality management system according to the new company objectives / requirements of the market;
  3. Build products that meet the catalog informations;
  4. Build products conform to customer specifications;
  5. Stimulate, by tecnologically innovative, research programs for the development of production processes and control;
  6. Guarantee the reliability of its products through trials, inspections and appropriate checks;
  7. Realize a preventive maintenance of all process units to avoid possible non-compliance of the product.
